Spaceful Privacy Policy

Kiwi Game Studio ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Spaceful (the "App") accesses, uses, stores, shares, and protects information, including information received from Google APIs, and how our website at https://www.kiwigamestudio.com/ handles information.

Spaceful helps users review and manage storage on their device. Connecting a Google Account and using the Gmail cleaning feature is optional. You do not need to connect Gmail to use Spaceful's other features.

1. Information We Access or Collect

a. Google Account and Gmail Data

If you choose to connect Gmail, Spaceful accesses the following data:

• Connected-account information: your Google Account email address and OAuth authorization information, including access and refresh tokens, granted scopes, and token expiration information.
• Gmail message information: message identifiers, sender names and email addresses, subject lines, short message snippets, message dates, and message-list counts needed to scan and organize messages in the App.
• Actions you request: the identifiers of messages you select to keep in Spaceful's local review list or move to Gmail Trash.

Spaceful requests the gmail.modify scope because the narrower read-only Gmail scopes cannot move user-selected messages to Trash. Spaceful does not request the broader full-mailbox https://mail.google.com/ scope. The App requests the standard openid and email scopes to complete Google sign-in and identify the connected account.

Spaceful requests message metadata rather than full message bodies or attachments. A short content snippet may be returned by Gmail and displayed locally so you can recognize a message before deciding what to do with it.

b. Photos, Videos, Contacts, and Other Device Content

With your permission, Spaceful may access device content such as photos, videos, screenshots, contacts, and related metadata, depending on the features you use. This access supports features such as identifying duplicate, similar, large, or unwanted items and letting you review items before deletion. This content is processed locally on your device unless the App clearly tells you otherwise. We do not upload this personal content to our servers for storage-cleaning analysis and do not sell it.

c. Information You Provide

Spaceful does not require your name, phone number, or similar identifiers for its core features. If you contact us for support, feedback, or a business inquiry, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message, and attachments. We use this information to respond to you, provide support, maintain appropriate business records, and improve our services.

d. App Usage, Diagnostics, and Device Information

We may receive limited technical and diagnostic information to maintain and improve the App, such as App version, device model, operating-system version, language, country or region, crash logs, performance data, error reports, feature usage, and approximate usage statistics. This diagnostic and analytics information does not include Gmail message data, Gmail message metadata, OAuth tokens, or the locally stored Gmail index.

e. Purchases and Subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment-card details. We may receive limited transaction information, such as product identifier, purchase or subscription status, renewal status, and receipt information, to provide paid features and manage access.

f. Website Information

When you visit our website, standard web technologies may process limited information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring page, cookies, and general usage data for site functionality, security, analytics, or performance.

2. How We Use Information

We use information only for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:

• Provide, operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Spaceful and its user-facing features.
• Use Gmail metadata to group messages by sender, show message counts and review details, remember local keep choices, and help you decide which messages to keep or move to Trash.
• Move Gmail messages to Trash only after you select them and confirm the action in the App.
• Process photos, videos, contacts, and other device content locally for the features you choose.
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Manage purchases, subscriptions, trials, and access to paid features.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity and comply with legal obligations.

3. How Google User Data Is Processed and Stored

• Direct processing: the App calls Google's OAuth and Gmail APIs directly from your iOS device over HTTPS. Kiwi Game Studio does not receive Gmail message data through an intermediary server.
• OAuth credentials: on iOS, OAuth access and refresh tokens, the connected email address, granted scopes, and token-expiration information are stored locally in the iOS Keychain. They are used only to maintain the Gmail connection you requested.
• Local Gmail index: to avoid repeating a full scan every time you open the feature, the App stores a local index containing sender names and email addresses, per-sender message counts, the newest message date, scan time, and local keep markers that may include Gmail message identifiers. These files stay in the App's private storage on your device and are excluded from device backups where supported.
• Temporary review data: message subjects, snippets, dates, and message identifiers used on a message-review screen are kept in App memory for the current session and are not uploaded to our servers.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell Google user data or local device content. We do not share Gmail data with analytics providers, advertising platforms, data brokers, information resellers, or other third parties. No employee, contractor, or other human reads your Gmail data through Spaceful.

Limited non-Google information may be shared only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: trusted providers may process limited diagnostics, analytics, crash-reporting, subscription-validation, advertising, hosting, support, or security information only as needed to provide their services. They do not receive Gmail data from Spaceful.
• Apple and App Store services: Apple may process purchase, subscription, analytics, diagnostics, and device-related information under Apple's policies and your settings.
• Legal and safety requirements: we may disclose information we actually possess if required by applicable law or legal process, or if reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security. Because Gmail data is not transmitted to our servers, we ordinarily do not possess server-side Gmail data to disclose.
• Business transfers: information we possess may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards. Gmail data stored only on your device is not part of such a transfer.

5. Advertising, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence

Spaceful may use analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising technologies for App performance, reliability, and support. Depending on your device settings, region, and App version, these services may process device or advertising identifiers, App interactions, approximate location inferred from IP address, diagnostics, and ad performance data. They are not permitted to receive Google user data from Spaceful.

Google user data is never used for advertising, retargeting, personalized marketing, creditworthiness, lending, surveillance, or training generalized or personalized AI or machine-learning models.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

• Google authorization: OAuth credentials remain on your device while your Gmail connection is active. Using Spaceful's sign-out control attempts to revoke the Google refresh token and removes the locally stored OAuth credentials and connected-account email address.
• Local Gmail cache: the local sender index and keep markers may remain in the App's private storage after sign-out so the same account can reconnect without an immediate full rescan. Deleting Spaceful from your device removes these App files through iOS.
• Gmail messages: Spaceful does not retain server copies. Messages you choose to move to Trash are retained and deleted according to your Gmail settings and Google's retention practices. You may recover them from Gmail Trash while Google makes that option available.
• Other local content: photos, videos, contacts, and similar content remain on your device unless you delete or modify them using the App or iOS features.
• Other records: support communications, diagnostics, analytics, transaction, and website information are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this Policy or as required or permitted by law.

7. Your Choices and Controls

• Optional Gmail connection: you may use the App's other features without connecting Gmail.
• Disconnect Gmail: use Spaceful's sign-out control and/or remove Spaceful's access from your Google Account connections page.
• Delete local Gmail data: delete the App from your device to remove its local Gmail cache and other App data. Removing the App does not itself delete messages from Gmail.
• Device permissions: grant or revoke permissions such as Photos or Contacts access in iOS Settings.
• Subscriptions: manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
• Privacy requests: contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold. We cannot retrieve Gmail data that exists only on your device or in your Google Account.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Gmail API traffic uses encrypted HTTPS connections, OAuth uses PKCE, and iOS credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. Local App files are kept in the App's private storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The App and website may link to third-party services, including Google and Apple. Those services handle information under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, security, or privacy practices.

10. Children's Privacy

Spaceful is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in the applicable jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. International Users

If you use Spaceful or contact us from outside the country where we operate, non-Gmail information we receive may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards. Gmail data processed only between your device and Google is subject to Google's applicable data locations and policies.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time and will revise the "Last updated" date. If we materially change how Spaceful accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where required before using that data for a new purpose.
